At Handsworth Christian School we believe that every pupil is unique and has their own specific educational needs. We rarely have more than 16 pupils in a class and the school has a strong community atmosphere where everybody knows everyone else. Here at Handsworth Christian School, every child is treated as an individual - not a statistic.
We usually have around 140 pupils at the school, aged between 4 and 16. In this small environment, our excellent team of staff can give a great deal of individual attention and notice very quickly when a pupil is not working to their full potential. That is the basis of our reputation for academic excellence, but as a Christian school we also have a responsibility to help each child develop emotionally and spiritually.
Like any school, we have our strengths and weaknesses. We know it’s important that you make the right decision for your child whether that’s here with us or not. If you do decide to join us, you and your child will be welcomed into a secure and friendly Christian environment.
Pauline Arnott (Headteacher, Handsworth Christian School)
