Handsworth Christian School Mission Statement

Handsworth Christian School is an independent Christian school for boys and girls aged 4-16. We aim to provide a quality education incorporating the following core aims:

• To provide an education, underpinned by a Christian ethos, to children from both Christian and non-Christian backgrounds.

• To provide a human-scale environment for learning where no child is ever ‘lost in the system’ and where education is tailored to pupils’ individual needs.

• To provide an education which meets the needs of pupils both academically and in terms of personal, moral and spiritual development.

• To train our pupils to become responsible adults and well-respected members of their local community.
